Marmaras is a Guest House that also offers Training facilities. A design that combines old and modern, may host up to 11 persons in separate suits. Enjoy the facilities of the premises and easy access to the centre of the Village.
We provide a common space for conferences, meetings equipped with a video projector and wireless internet.
Access and facilities for wheelchair users.
If you are a group with more than 11 persons then we can arrange accommodation in surrounding lodgings.
Marmaras- Guest House and Training Centre is situated in Lysos – Paphos. Lysos is situated next to Paphos forest and just 20 min from the most amazing shores of Chrysochou Bay and Akamas. This makes it an ideal base for Hiking, Cycling, Sea adventures, Nature exploring, Horse riding, stargazing.

Lysos as a village has an interesting architecture. Being one of the largest villages of the area, it was hit by immigration in the early 40’s. There is a strong link with the immigrant population in South Africa, Canada, Australia, UK, USA.
The city of Paphos and Paphos Port are 30 km away. Akamas Peninsula National Park is 34 km away. Paphos International Airport is at a distance of 46 km. Free private parking is possible on site.

AVAKAS GORGE
Located at the western end of the Akama Peninsula, this impressive gorge is located about 36.5 km from Lysos.
Deep in the gorge you will find rare plants and flowers, reptiles, huge rocks and even wild mountain goats.
BATHS OF APRODITE
Located about 22.3 km from Lysos, the natural cave here features a shallow pool cave surrounded by ferns and a large fig tree that cares for shade. A natural spring feeds the water in the pool. According to the legend, Aphrodite would swim in this pool and where she first met her great love – Adonis. The waters here are said to have special rejuvenating powers. Before the baths you will find the botanical garden with endemic plants. Enjoy the sea in a natural landscape.
NATURE TRAILS IN AKAMAS
In the Akamas Peninsula there are three official nature trails: the Adonis trail, the Aphrodite Trail and the Smigies Trail. Combined with rocky hiking trails, these three nature trails offer people walking through them stunning views of various sizes of gorges and valleys, amazing cliffs, curved shores, cliffs and strange boulder shapes. Akamas is famous for its stunning beauty and valuable ecology.
KRITOU TERA WATERFALLS "KREMMIOTIS"
The car route is about 14 km from Lysos.The waterfall is located on the east side of the village of Kritos Terra. There are signs that guide, but do not hesitate to ask villagers who are always willing to guide and even accompany you on the path. Take towels and waterproof cases for mobile phones and cameras with you, as the only sure thing is that you will get wet.

KOUYIOUKA WATERMILL
Kouyiouka Watermill is a listed building that has been very sympathetically renovated to its former glory, partly with the help of European Funds. The owner’s deep understanding of traditional values, great admiration for local craft and true respect of customs dating back generations, is reflected in every stone of this unique building to provide visitors an incomparable insight of Cypriot life and traditions. Kouyiouka Watermill is located 2km from Giolou Village on the B7 road that runs between Paphos and Polis. Travelling from Paphos, the building stands on the right.
